New Partnership Improves Access to Health Workforce Resources

CapacityPlus’s HRH Global Resource Center and the Global Health Workforce Alliance have formed a partnership to foster knowledge exchange among the global health workforce community.

Health workers in GuatemalaThe HRH Global Resource Center is a knowledge management service of CapacityPlus. A comprehensive collection, this digital library of human resources for health (HRH) information currently has over 2,600 resources. The Global Health Workforce Alliance’s Knowledge Centre, launched in 2010, focuses primarily on peer-reviewed publications and guidance documents, documents on the specific situations of individual priority countries, and materials produced by its 300 members and partners.

In the new partnership, the HRH Global Resource Center will complement the holdings of the Knowledge Centre by providing additional resources on specific thematic areas, country-specific materials for the Knowledge Centre’s country pages, and additional linkages to support the complementary libraries.

Going forward, the two libraries will strengthen their collaboration as the Knowledge Centre continues to expand.
