Amanda PuckettAmanda Puckett, IntraHealth International, Program Manager
Amanda Puckett supports CapacityPlus’s field work in Nigeria, Ghana, and the Latin America and Caribbean region. She also manages the project’s core work in global leadership as well as policy and planning. She has over seven years of experience collaborating with governments, stakeholders, and partnering nonprofit organizations to support, manage, and implement health workforce strengthening activities in several sub-Saharan African countries, including Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Namibia, and Botswana. Puckett completed her MPH in the Maternal and Child Health Department at the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health in May 2011. While at UNC, Puckett was a recipient of the US Department of Education Foreign Language Area Studies Fellowship and participated in the MCH Leadership Consortium trainee program, funded by North Carolina’s Title V block grant.
