Jennifer Aggrey, Midwifery Student in Nigeria

Jennifer Aggrey, a student at the School of Midwifery FCT Gwagalada, Nigeria, shares why she wants to work in a rural part of Nigeria after graduating.

Our Involvement

CapacityPlus’s Amanda Puckett interviewed Jennifer during a trip to Nigeria. CapacityPlus provided scholarships for 2,065 qualified community health extension worker and midwifery students who were at risk of dropping out due to financial reasons in their final year of studies. This is one component of the project's work to support the Federal Ministry of Health and other stakeholders to carry out an integrated program of health workforce strengthening.
