Global Action

Over the last several years the global community has become more aware and active in addressing the health workforce crisis. Building on the progress made by the Capacity Project, CapacityPlus provides technical leadership and advocacy to grow the global health workforce movement.

As we develop approaches and models, we consult with appropriate projects and partners that are working in the same technical areas. This builds momentum and a sustained sense of urgency for action. We are also consulting with a broad range of partners to develop an advocacy strategy that identifies key audiences, messages, and a communication plan.

CapacityPlus serves partner countries and multilateral organizations by offering state-of-the-art expertise, models, tools, training, and analyses adapted to each context. These services help countries move closer to having the right health worker in the right place with the right skills and support. We work with public, nonprofit, faith-based, and for-profit organizations contributing to better human resources for health.
