Carie MuntiferingCarie Muntifering Cox, IntraHealth International, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research Advisor
Carie has over seven years of combined experience and education in international public health with a focus on quantitative and qualitative research in family planning and reproductive health. She recently earned her PhD from the Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. During her PhD program, she supported the design and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation plan for Advance Family Planning, a multicountry advocacy project led by the Bill and Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health. She has also worked on research study design and data analysis at the Center for Communication Programs in Baltimore, MD. Carie earned her MPH from the Department of International Health and Development at Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon from 2004–2006.
